Dining Room

Our classic New England style clubhouse features a dining room with a large mahogany bar, brick fireplace, and oak floors. Floor to ceiling glass doors open to the partially covered farmer's porch and offer an outstanding view of the golf course and cranberry bogs. The dining room can accomodate up to 112 guests, or 90 with space for a dance floor. In warmer months, the porch can be used for cocktails or seating for an additional 48 guests. 9 photos

Tent

Our twin-peaked sailcloth tent can be set up on the lawn adjacent to the clubhouse, and provides our most popular setting for wedding receptions. There is nothing quite like the beauty of an outdoor wedding. Most commonly, cocktails are served in the dining room and porch, and then guests move to the tent for dining and dancing. Using the entire facility provides complete flexibility in how events for up to 200 guests will be organized. 13 photos

Ceremonies

There are four great locations for on-site ceremonies at Southers Marsh. For outdoor ceremonies, our first tee located between the clubhouse amd cranberry bog is the most popular spot. The tent and the farmer's porch are also beautiful outdoor options, depending on the size of your reception. The dining room provides a perfect indoor setting, whether by choice or as a contingency. 6 photos

The Landscape

The setting at Southers Marsh is second to none. The clubhouse was designed to take full advantage of the views provided by its location among the perfectly manicured fairways, 100-year old working cranberry bogs, and Miles Standish State Forest. Although Fall may be the most dramatic season with the cranberry harvest and foliage, Southers Marsh is gorgeous all 12 months of the year. 12 photos

The Cranberry Heart

Every year, for one weekend usually near the beginning of October, we set up the heart-shaped cranberry corral as a wedding backdrop. On the bog nearest the clubhouse, we arrange the floating cranberries into the shape of a heart, which can be seen clearly from the clubhouse, deck, and tent. Your guests will be talking about this unique touch for years. 5 photos
